Wow, we have been so busy! Last weekend Aaron had the annual Commerce Bank picnic at Six Flags. We had so much fun and the boys loved it. I have a feeling Aidan will be giving Alex a run for his money next year when he can ride all of the big rides too. Alex had the most fun with Aaron on the Log Flume, I was happy not to get wet!
We had Alex's graduation at The Little Gym this week. It was sad to say goodbye to TLG for the Summer. Alex has met some great kids and learned many valuable skills while I enjoyed talking to adults.
We have gone swimming many times now and are enjoying the little pool out back. Yes, I spent my birthday money on it what did you think I would do? Like Mother like daughter I guess. By 8am Alex is asking if we can go out. Thank goodness that I refill it every morning so I have an excuse to wait!
My birthday was wonderful. It has been an awesome week for me, I received two very nice compliments from someone other then a family member or friend and even had a 20 year-old hit on me. That's great when you are turning a year older and even though I'm a happily married woman it still felt good! Aaron surprised me with everything I asked for and a little extra so that was more then perfect. Thanks Aaron for making me feel loved and appreciated! We spent the earlier part of the day swimming and relaxing at my Mom's.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I truly appreciate it!
Love to all.
