Busy Boys

I don't know if busy is the right word but that is how I have been feeling this Summer. I am not complaining one bit about it though we have been having so much fun. We went to the Zoo with Grandma last Friday and had a wonderful time. This is a picture of Aidan trying to pet the Elephant. The Elephant "Dolly" wasn't about to let Aidan pet her but it was fun watching Aidan try.
We love being outside so on the days we don't have plans, which seems like few these days, we play in the backyard with our jungle of toys. Aidan is my smiler, rarely do you see him not smiling or laughing about something that is going on. The boys have really started playing well together they run and laugh and chase each other around the house. Alex always wins at tag:)
Alex had a great week at Vacation Bible School. I was tested every morning about him not wanting to go and how home with Mommy is more fun, which I question, but it's nice to hear that your little boy loves his Mommy enough to stay home without his best friend visiting or the TV. He had his program Friday night and he did a wonderful job. You wouldn't know this kid from a year ago when he did his program. He and Batman had their own little production going. He is such a fun-loving kid. Aidan joined in the fun by pointing to the cross and saying "Jesus." I don't know how that happened but it was rewarding to watch.
Today is Caesar's 5th birthday. He is a WONDERFUL dog, I could not have asked for a better dog for us and the kids. He lets them jump on him, pull everything from his tail to his ears and his tongue. He waits for us and is always excited when we get home. He has found a new love for our neighbor's house and has had a few adventures of his own in their backyard. He is amazing and I don't know how our family would function without him. Love you Cease...
