Well today was Alex's first day of Pre-school. Alex inherited SHY genes. Apparently I was a shy child and so was Aaron so Alex is exceptionally shy around other people and other kids. I had been looking into Pre-school for some time but hadn't found anything I really liked. Alex's Pre-school religion teacher told me about Mustard Seed. Apparently this place has been around for years (like 30) and is in the back of a church tucked away between Barnhart and Imperial. We visited and I thought NO way until I walked inside and loved all of the things going on. I asked a Grandmother on the way out if her grandson liked it and she said, "Yes, he loves it and so did my 27 year old." I went back a couple times and thought this is the place, 'especially when Alex told me I could leave and pick him up later.' Then I found out that there were only openings in the afternoon class and well if you know me I'm not one for change and this would interfere with Alex's nap so I thought we would wait. One week later she called with an opening and that's how we got to today. When I picked Alex up he said, "Mom my day was GREAT"! What a good feeling. I also have a beautiful Turtle on the refrigerator. So that's that. I am so excited for Alex to make new friends and learn new things. It's wonderful being a parent!

That's great! I'm so happy to hear that he liked it. This will give him more social conditioning. Also, I love the title of your blog "My 3 A's" CUTE!!

I am so excited that you started a blog. Isn't it fun? I have really been enjoying mine. I am glad you found a special place for Alex!
I enjoyed your blog. Yes, being a parrent is wonderful, but being a grandma is even more fun.
